Tier 2 Certification
Practitioners delivering SFP 10-14 (UK) are offered a range of post-training support, which can be a part of their Tier 2 certification.
The support is achieved in two ways:
- During the delivery of a seven week programme to families, facilitators receive two 30-minute supervision sessions via e-mail, internet or telephone
- During or following the delivery of the programme, SFP10-14 (UK) facilitators will review their practice with project trainers. This can take the form of:
- Review of two SFP 10-14 (UK) sessions with a project trainer
- Direct observation of an SFP 10-14 (UK) session led by the facilitator
- Submission of a videotape of two sessions led by a facilitator
We negotiate the exact mechanism for submitting evidence with facilitators during the three day training course they attended initially. We provide feedback to facilitators regarding their performance. In addition, facilitators will be encouraged to use the SFP10-14 (UK) website as a resource to support their on going SFP10-14 (UK) practice. Facilitators attaining Tier 2 training will receive a certificate confirming that they have undergone a three day facilitator’s course including supervision and feedback on their performance.
